Do you offer same day appointments?We offer same day sick visits only. These visits are first come, first serve, so please try to call before 10 AM to ensure we can see you.

What is your missed appointment policy?We require 24-hour notice for appointment cancellation. Appointments cancelled the same day or missed are subject to fees and can lead to dismissal from Colorado River Pediatrics. We ask that all patients arrive on time and prepared for their visit. Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled resulting in a missed appointment.

Are you taking new patients?The only patients we are currently accepting are newborns.

What insurances do you take?We take most major insurances, including HealthChoice, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, United Healthcare, Aetna, Mercy care, and UMR. If you have specific questions regarding your insurance, please give us a call.

How do I access my child's health records?You can access your child's health records via the patient portal.

When can I expect to be seen?Well-child visits are currently 2-4 weeks out.

Can I choose which provider I see?Yes, absolutely! Just let us know who you would like to see, and we will set you up with them. Please note that wait-times are typically longer for Dr. Barton.
